Charities

The Iowa Arabian Horse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the Arabian Horse.     We believe in supporting several local charities so that we can all work together to make a difference in the world today.

The IaAHA Gold Star Futurity is aligning with A.S.P.I. R. E. therapeutic horseback riding program.  A portion of our proceeds will be allocated to this group to help them continue to help individuals with disabilities in the Cedar Valley.

Below is a letter received from Marilyn Moore, head of the ASPIRE TRP program ...

Dear IaAHA,

First, please let me thank you for choosing ASPIRE as your charity of chose.  It is heart-warming to partner with such a wonderful organization.   Everyone has such beautiful horses.

Second, what a great opportunity to be involved in the Iowa Gold Star Futurity.  Kelly, Deb and Maddie had a fabulous time.  Thank you for the donation of the colt and the ability to raffle him off.  He was gorgeous.   ASPIRE received over $1,000 for that weekend.

Third, Thank you so much for $1,000 check.  I enjoyed watching all of you receive your awards.  What an honor!!   Thanks so much to everyone that was involved in the decision making process.  Many of our riders can't afford to pay for their lessons.  ASPIRE depends on groups like yours along with fundraisers, and grants to continue to provide lessons and programs to over 100 participants every year.   ASPIRE looks forward to the partnership with Iowa Arabian Horse Association.   It is our hope we can enhance this partnership over the year.  Please feel free to come out and visit our classes this spring.   We would love to have you.   Thanks again for your kindness, generosity and commitment.  It is truly heartwarming.

                                                                                                                            Marilyn Moore
