The IaAHA sponsors an annual "Community" Arabian Horse Show held each year in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the Kirkwood College Equitation Center.      This show is always held in late October, early November so it has aptly been named the 'IaAHA Spooktacular'.      A "Community Show" is similar to a Fun Show; however, there are more guidelines the show manager and exhibitors need to follow.  There are many classes offered such as Halter, Western, English, and Hunt Seat Performance, Arabian Native Costume, and much more!    Even though this show is not rated "A", exhibitors may still gather points for AHA's high point competition in specified classes and IaAHA's High Point Program.    This is an excellent show to participate in if you're thinking about taking the next step to advance from non-rated Fun Shows to the Class A show ring.

One of the most memorable classes the 'Spooktacular' offers is their Best Costume class.    Arabians and Half Arabians are brought in the ring in a wide array of silly or scary costumes to celebrate Halloween.       We invite you to join us this year and see all the fun!!
