Midwest Equitation Circuit Championships - 2005

            The Midwest Equitation Circuit Championships were designed to promote equitation and to provide riders with the opportunity to practice and refine their skills. Championships are held in accordance with USEF. Top 4 exhibitors are required to do a pattern. All exhibitors are automatically entered, and need not be a member of Iowa AHA. Standings are following the Iowa Spring show in Des Moines, IA April, 2005.

            Medal Class will count this year. One of the main goals of the MECC program is to give exhibitors a chance to continually practice and refine their pattern skills. Since their is no restriction on entering medal classes as many times as you want any more, and since we feel it is important to encourage participation in them, we will continue to count them in the 2005 MECC program.

Regular Class points are; 1st ~ 6pts,   2nd ~ 5pts,   3rd ~ 4pts,   4th ~ 3pts,   5th ~ 2pts,    6^th ~ 1pt Championship points are;    Champion ~ 20pts,      Res. Champion ~ 18pts,

3rd ~ 14pts,    4th ~ 12pts,    5th ~ 10pts,    6th ~ 8pts,    7th ~ 6pts,    8th ~ 4pts.
